With a research master’s in Organizational Behaviour and over a decade of experience in HR strategy and transformation, she brings a wealth of expertise in human capital management, setting up HR strategy and leadings hands-on transformations.

A key milestone in her career was leading a project focused on gathering data, calculating, and reporting the gender pay gap, which sparked her desire to create a business addressing gender pay disparity.

As COO, Anca is responsible for shaping the company’s vision, strategy, and direction. She co-develops products alongside the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and manages internal operations, finance, and organizational growth. Her passion for driving real change in gender pay equality and inclusion fuels her work. Anca believes deeply in the startup’s potential to make workplaces more equitable and inclusive, bringing energy and inspiration to the team.

FairWave Analytics has already launched three off-the-shelf analytical products focused on gender pay equity, including tools for calculating the Gender Pay Gap and Adjusted Gender Pay Gap. Committed to making an impact, the company offers regulatory reports for free to help businesses meet CSRD and European Banking Authority (EBA) compliance requirements, setting the bar higher than simple regulatory adherence. Anca’s leadership ensures that the products address real needs, helping organizations not just comply but actively improve fair pay practices.

Looking ahead, Anca is focused on reversing the gender pay gap across the EU and driving legislative progress on gender pay equity. Her vision for the company is to empower organizations to adopt fair pay practices and help shape industry standards.
